[2024] Disappearing batteries and engines

This thread was started in 2017, and the game has changed a lot since then. To prevent confusion, please don’t resurrect very old threads. Start a new thread instead, and link to the old one if needed. Also, crashes & related problems are most appropriate in the Support & Bug Reports sub-forum, not General Discussions.
