[2023] How to switch between locked targets using a mouse?

Hello,

i have played AC Valhalla about a year and a half ago, and recently decided to buy the game and replay it. When i played earlier, i could switch to any locked target simply by moving my mouse left or right, and now it no longer works. I have checked other discussions and noticed that it works only while scrolling the mouse wheel. Does this have to do something with the recent updates, and is there any way to change it back to just mouse movement? Any kind of help is appreciated!
