YOU GUUUUYS. I just bought this game and I've been playing for several hours and it feels literally like agony, walking around in a beta game with zero music whatsoever (and I do mean absolutely zero). I looked it up and others are having the same issue! This has been happening for years? I'm really concerned that I just bought a game that's going to be me walking around to the sound of footsteps, angry voices yelling at me, and snow kooshes with wind and slash noises for hundreds of hours. I promise you that if this is the case, I absolutely do not plan on it. I will not do that to myself.
There is literally no music; I turned all volumes up, set music frequency to "High". ZEEEEERO music. When I paused it, I could hear the faaaaaaaintest (and I do mean the absolute faaaaaaintest) muffle of some type of string instrument wwaaaaaay quietly in the background.
Did you spend half a million dollars making a game to throw it away by zapping its epic glory with no music? I know you paid top dollar for extensive music rights. This stuff should literally be playing quite loudly ALL the time. Instead not only is it not playing at all in the starting level, while fighting or questing, or walking around — or doing anything else — but when it does play, like on the pause menu, it's so ridiculously quiet I'd be shocked if someone said it was there. I made my entire living room quiet in order to hear, and yeah there's some quiet music on the pause menu set to the volume of a dog's hearing.
I am offended that your developers would slap the music department and storywriters in the face by allowing this to take place. It has literally made a half a billion dollar game quite literally garbage bin material. It feels like a beta game I picked up off a CD from a kickstarter with no music. You have GOT to stop pussyfooting around and dilly-dallying and fix this; there is no excuse. NO excuse. Thank you.
