Can't start Dawn of Ragnarok on the ps5. I load my game and a small dlc plays out, then I get notified the yule festival is over and I get no quest afterwards.

Hey there @raffz226, I am sorry to hear that you have been experiencing issues accessing the Assassin's Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok expansion. It is important to note that it has not been fully released yet across all platforms and the release date is tomorrow the 10th of March, however, players who prepurchased the expansion will be able to access it today from 1:00PM UTC time.

If you did prepurchase the content on the PS5, could you please provide a short video showing that you are missing the quest on the latest version? You could directly upload the clip to an online video-sharing platform like Twitter or YouTube. Alternatively, if you would prefer, you could transfer the video to a PC using a flash drive and then send it to us another way, such as through a file-sharing site. Your current game version can be located in the lower right-hand corner of the main menu. The current update should state 1.5.0.

Hey again @raffz226, thank you for taking the time to share the video, I appreciate it and it will greatly assist with our investigations. I would just like to refer back to my previous comment here and ask a few questions:

  1. Did you receive any download/update launching the game within the past 24 hours?
  2. Going back to what I mentioned before, it is important to note that this content is only accessible to players who prepurchased the content before the 9th. Was this purchased at an earlier date?


If the content was only purchased today, then that explains why the content is not accessible, and you will need to wait until tomorrow. If you have any questions or run into any other issues, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Can you please confirm if you are still unable to access the expansion? If that's the case, can you please confirm your current region and the version of your base game (physical or digital) along with your PSN region, so we can have a look?
