[2022] Games graphics settings are saved to the games profile settings rather than the PC

An annoying feature is that, when you have two or more pc, then the settings of one game stick to the account instead that to the device, and so if i have a more powerful desktop with everything in ultra high, then when i game on my laptop that runs on medium quality, everything reverts to ultra high quality and i have to change the setting and the game makes me restart the game everytime for this.

IS there a way to prevent this, and make the game settings stick to the device instead to be tied to the account? or maybe as an option in the ubisoft connect launcher.
