AC Valhalla, i got the key to open the door for assassinating little mother but it was difficult to complete the mission so i got out and in again but also failed to complete the mission. so i saved and turned off ps5. when i tried again the game started and eivor was standing outside the room but no key and door can’t be opened. i thought maybe the mission was reset but i return back to the place i found the key at first but nothing was there. seems am stuck in this bug.
HI @tqmdave I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue completing the quest 'Sister of Sorrow'.
To confirm you assassinated 'Little Mother' but left the area as you found it difficult to complete the quest. Can you confirm what difficulties you were experiencing?
I would recommend loading a previous save before you started the quest then try again. If you are unable to do this for any reason could you please provide a video that demonstrates this issue.
I would recommend uploading your video to a video sharing platform such as YouTube, you can then copy the URL link into this thread.
Can you also ensure that your latest save is uploaded to the cloud. If you are unsure how to do this there is a support article that you can check here.
@tqmdave I'm sorry to hear that you do not have an earlier save that you can load. The older thread was locked as this prevents older threads from being bumped to the top of the page which pushes newly reported issues down the page.
You mentioned that you left the area as it was difficult then entered again but failed the quest. You then saved the game and closed your PS5. Can you confirm where you respawned after you failed the quest and before you saved the game, and did you wait for the save icon to finish saving before closing the game? Finally how did you close the game down, did you exit to the main menu then close the application or just close the application?
I can confirm that the particular issue you and the other players encountered in those threads was not reported. The only issues we had reported were the following:
Able to get out of conflict with the Little Mother causing her to instant conflict if an autosave was created then loaded [Fixed in update 1.3.2]
Cannot exit Little Mother's sanctum if you initiate conflict with the either of the two NPCs in the tunnel before the dagger room [Fixed in update 1.3.2]
Quest does not progress after distracting Little Mother with Explosive Corpse and triggering Assassination Event during Sister of Sorrow [Fixed in update 1.3.2]
The support specialist that replied to say that we are aware of the issue must have thought it was related to one of the issues above for which I apologise.
I can report this issue to the development team to investigate, however I would require a video demonstrating the issue. We would need to see the following in the video:

Before I can report this issue to the development team could you please provide a video demonstrating the issue and showing what I mentioned in my previous reply, and also upload your latest save to the cloud.
@tqmdave when reporting an issue to the development team we need to provide as much information as possible to help the development team reproduce the issue. If possible a video demonstrating the issue would be appreciated.
However, I have still reported this issue to be investigated.
Hi @tqmdave the development team have had a look at your save and confirmed that there was not enough progression on your save to access the quest 'Sister of Sorrow' and would need another save file.
Could you please go to the location of the locked door, make sure that the quest is tracked in your quest log, then create a new manual save and upload it to the cloud and let me know once you have done this and I will forward the new save on to them for further investigation.
