[2021] Unable to dodge or roll

So I've been playing this game for about 4 hours and completed the first couple of quests. After i completed "Family Matters" or something along that line, I'm not able to dodge or roll.

I tried seeing if its my controller button which is faulty, but it wasn't.
I was able to use the button on the map to remove all markers and to upgrade equipment. I read that you use stamina to dodge/roll of which i had a full bar.

I had other minor bugs but his takes the cake. Please give me a possible fix.
