I cannot complete this world event mystery due to Aswig no longer being at the quest marker. When I first did this mystery, I had the dialogue with her in which you have the options of telling her to bugger off, pay her a little silver, or pay her a little more silver. I know now that the correct option is to pay her the higher amount of silver but that does me no good if she is despawned. I told her to leave me alone and I thought this was the end of it. I fast traveled elsewhere and played multiple days before realizing I hadn’t completed Essexe. I came back to her original spawn point where she was tied up and she is no longer here or where I left her in the dialogue. I’ve spent hours riding around the woods looking for her to no avail. I’ve tried everything to force her spawn. Leaving the area and coming back, completing a separate mystery/world event and coming back, meditating, changing Eivor’s gender, leaving the animus, etc. I even asked a friend to go do her mission and select the correct dialogue and then follow her after the mission completes and tell me where she runs off to but she doesn’t go anywhere. Please fix this bug. I’m so close to the completionist achievement and I would really hate to miss it because of a glitch. Other than this painful glitch, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the game and look forward to future content. Thanks Ubisoft for another fantastic installment.

I am sorry to hear that you have encountered this issue.

Can you provide a brief video showing that you cannot progress the quest when you return to the World Event marker?

You mention that you have gave the woman silver prior to her leaving you. Is that correct? If so, how long did she follow when you gave her the silver?

Can you provide us with a copy of your save file via our support website?

After thorough investigation, the development team is unable to provide a solution for the reported issue. When assessing the complexity of the issue and number of players affected, the team had to prioritize issues that had a comparatively higher impact.

With Post-Launch support for Assassin's Creed Valhalla coming to an end, we will be unable to roll out a fix for this issue.
