I am also sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with the quest 'King Killer'.
There were two issues related to the quest 'King Killer' that the development team were unable to resolve which are mentioned in the megathread here.
Title Update 1.7.0, released on February 21, is the final update to address bug fixes in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. As a result, any new issues reported will not be addressed by the development team. Thank you for your understanding.
The only thing I could suggest is to try another controller if you have one, or go through the Xbox troubleshooting then try again to see if that helps.
