As a test, can you please try starting a new save on your current Xbox profile, as well as starting a new save on a different Xbox profile, and seeing what the results are in both cases?

If possible, I'd also recommend seeing if the issue persists on a different/friend's console of the same type while logged in with your account/using your main save.

While I can understand that it is not the answer you were hoping for, the answer does still stand that it is confirmed that the development team will be unable to continue investigating into this. I extend my apologies to you and @Ubitron3000 as I get that this answer is not ideal.

Hey @corke6662013 , thanks for reaching out about this. I understand you are disappointed that we've not been able to solve this issue for you. As we've announced over on our main thread tracking this issue, this is not something we're able to investigate further. We still recommend running through the steps in our troubleshooting guides, as this has been shown to solve performance issues for the vast majority of players - if you let me know which platform you are on, I'll be able to link the specific troubleshooting guide I'd recommend.

Hi @TBone-Alin I can understand your frustration, however as mentioned the issue with screen tearing and FPS drops on Xbox Series X will no longer be investigated. We can only recommend going through the troubleshooting suggested.

Hi @Pskordilis apologies for the late response.

I am also sorry to hear that you are experiencing screen tearing and FPS drops.

As mentioned previously in this thread and in the megathread that was created for this issue here it was announced in June 2022 that the development team would be unable to continue looking into potential solutions to instances of screen tearing or FPS drops. After ongoing improvements aimed to fully address the issue it was not be possible to resolve this concern completely for all players.

I can only suggest going through the console troubleshooting which I think you may have already done.

As we are unable to assist further with this particular issue I will now lock this thread.
