[2020] [Gameplay]Ps4 to Ps5 (to Ps4) Progress

So I have preordered the Ps4 AC Valhalla, and plan to upgrade to the Ps5 version when I get Ps5 down the road. Will my progress in the game carry over to the Ps5?
If so, I plan on having my Ps4 and Ps5 at two different permanent locations (home and work), will it be possible to continue my progress from the Ps5 version on my Ps4? Or will my game progress then be locked to only the Ps5 version?

Hey, gameplayer5053!

Welcome to the forums. As progress is saved server-side it should transfer over from PS4 to PS5 so you should be able to continue your progress.

I'm afraid we don't have any information available to share at the moment about whether your save progress will transfer between next-gen consoles. I would recommend keeping an eye on our official website for further news and updates as we get closer to the release date!

Hey there nakkari,

Assassin's Creed Valhalla will support Cross-Progression, so you will be able to start your journey on PS4 and continue it on PS5 when it's available!
