I recently updated the game and I find these annoying white borderes on two sides of the picture during loading screen and ingame. On the menu there are no such white fringes.

Hi @teinzus I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with white borders on your screen.
Could you please go through the PC troubleshooting steps in the support article here then try again.
If the issue persists then can you please check your monitor resolution matches the resolution in game, if it does then close the game and delete the config file for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. After you have done this launch the game again and a new config file will be created.
The config file should be located in the following location: C:\Users\\Documents\Assassin's Creed Valhalla\ACValhalla.ini
I would still recommend making a backup copy of the config file before you delete it.
