Saw the older threads where the super compressed, tinny, poorly mixed crappy audio was acknowledged as a "too hard to fix", I'm guessign that's the last we heard (ha) of it?
Is this really the current state of the audio?
It's killing the immersion for me, sound like an early 90's game.

Hi @gpk_og I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the audio in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

As mentioned in the megathread here that we created for this particular issue, the development team confirmed that they would be unable to deploy a fix. They provided the following statement:

"After thorough investigation, the development team will not be able to resolve these audio issues. Resolution of this issue would require an overhaul of the entire audio system from the ground up and is not feasible. We recommend enabling subtitles to aid comprehension of dialogue."

Apologies for any inconvenience caused. If you have any additional feedback regarding this I would recommend creating a new thread in our general discussions forum here.

I will now lock this thread.
