Hi @MattieD2504 and @oxyoxy_240 , thanks both for reaching out about this. I understand you've both faced crashes once you've loaded into an Anno 1800 game, which is very unfortunate. I'll be happy to help get this resolved.

@MattieD2504 , can you start us off with the steps in the troubleshooting guide? Our findings with crashes have shown that they fix the vast majority of causes, so I'm confident they'll solve your crashing issue. In particular from the guide, please make sure you are running the game with administrator rights, you've verified the game files, you've got your graphics drivers and Windows install fully updated, and you don't have any background programs which could interfere with the game.

@oxyoxy_240 , thanks very much for listing the steps you've already tried - that really helps me out! It's unfortunate our recommended basic troubleshooting hasn't helped. Since you are on a laptop, please use this guide to double-check that your laptop is using the dedicated GPU and not your on-board GPU.

If none of those steps works for either of you, please then go on to check our system files support article. The two files it describes store important data (crucially, data that Windows logs during crashes) that we can use to diagnose the issue and suggest a more specific fix. We can't do this on the forum, though, so once you've got those files, please reach out at the links below so our support agents can help further.

Let me know if I can clarify any of the steps above!

Hey there @Godzilla027, I can see you have an open support ticket with us at the moment. Can you attach copies of your basic system files to that ticket? Once you have done so, our team will review them to see if there's an suggestions we can make to workaround these crashing errors.

The same would be appreciated from you two @cruudude and @julianscosta. You can open a support ticket from this website, or send us a Facebook or Twitter DM.
