I created a new oil trade route between two cities. My ship just goes somewhere not related and gets stuck without doing anything.

I created a new trade route, used a different ship, but nothing seems to help.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Hey there, @dikkeduif_ - thanks for your report about this.

When you say your ship goes somewhere not related, do you mean just randomly out into the ocean, or do they go to another, unrelated port? It looks like you've tried to send over a second screenshot there which may have answered my question, but it doesn't seem to have uploaded.

If your ship is stopping in the middle of the ocean randomly, I can confirm this is something we've got fixed for an upcoming update, which we'll be releasing as soon as we can. If something else is happening, please let me know, and I'll be happy to help you get to the bottom of it 😎

Hello Apparentape thank you also for your reply and letting us know this affects your cargo ship.

When you encounter this, can I ask is does it occur on islands you have conquered from other AI players?

There is a workaround that can sometimes fix this by manually pausing and unpausing the trade routes, we do have a planned fix for this in a future update.

The issue should be fixed with today's Game Update 12.1

After the update, please verify your game files and let us know if you still encounter the issue.
Thank you!
