I have started a new game with custom settings a while ago. Recently I noticed, that I am unable to purchase island shares from other islands or sell shares of my own islands. The button to open the window for selling or buying shares is just not visible, when looking at an island.


I am also unable to conquer an island by force. When attacking an island and destroying the harbour buildings, a new screen pops up, where my only option is to click on accept. However, I do not take over the island.


Is there an option I could have toggled while customising the settings, that disables island shares or conquering islands? I searched for this in the options for a new game, but could not find anything.

Please let me know, if you need further information from me.

P.S: I've sent the save file through the support website as described.

Sorry you're encountering this issue! Thank you for trying to verify the files and for confirming this is happening on a vanilla game. The information @Mevelios provided is what we would want to gather to report a bug so if you can provide a video and save file like mentioned in that link I would greatly appreciate it!

I see you sent your save file through a support ticket, thanks. I'm unable to test it myself but we'll send this over to the dev team when we report the issue.

Could you just let us know if it lets you conquer the island over some more time of playing like others have mentioned, and what settings you enabled so we can make sure to include this information in the report?

Thanks so much for providing us with the custom settings you put for your game, the screenshots are perfect! 🙂

We won't be needing any files for these settings, beside the images at the moment, and I've made sure to pass on the information for the report as well.
