I've been noticing that the new flame monitors don't always attack. Sometimes they just follow the target (a frigate, for example) and, even though in range, they're not firing. Other times, when the target was stationary, also didn't fire. There are times when they wait to get in a side position like a ship of the line, though they should be able to fire from any position, especially when the target is directly in front. And finally, there are times when they just ignore the enemy, even though they are being shot at.

In the example below, AI Alonso monitor was sitting there for hours, just admiring my gas island perhaps. I am at war with Alonso, maybe there was some intention of attacking my island and got stuck because it's impossible without an airship. Anyway, the other AI Artur is also at war with him; followed one of his ships which was approaching this flame monitor. I was sure the monitor would save it, but surprise, it didn't do anything. Did not even turn around. The other ship was finally sunk, then the monitor faced the same fate.
