Hello. I am from Ukraine, recently I purchased Anno with all expansions saw that it is only available in russian language with no way of changing it. After going back to store page, a small disclaimer at the very bottom there said that the game is "region-locked for Ukraine, Russia and CIS", so the game is strictly in russian. I did not get any warnings of that before purchase so I bought it, since "Supported languages" line contained many languages, including English, which was highly misleading. My question is, can you move Ukraine (and possibly other states) from russian region to EU, since not everybody speaks russian, nor it is an official language of countries other then Russia itself. I felt very disappointed to buy a game and be forced to play it in language that I don't speak, so the only option for me to play would be to refund, change country in account and buy again, which is not something that I wish to do. I do understand that russian version is cheaper so you forced this restriction, but you shouldn't just expect every person from a country geographically close to Russia to natively speak russian. So if you are not planning to add Ukrainian, or Moldovan, or Azerbaijani etc. language to the game, at least enable English as an internationally recognized language. As an alternative, please give us an option to choose a region before buying, even if EU version would be more expensive. Thank you.

Hey @naughty_glimmer ,

Thank you for reaching out.

The Ubisoft Storefronts were updated earlier this year to give Ukraine a separate storefront.

You can access this here, as well as the International Store should you have issues. Both storefronts allow for digital purchases of English Language titles.

I can see that your copy was bought from the Epic Store - as this is not our storefront, we have no control over the regional offerings here and would reccomend reaching out to Epic: (https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/) to discuss this further.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Thank you!

Thank you so much @naughty_glimmer, and apologies for the late response.

As Ubi-TheBerry has mentioned, we have no control over the regional offerings here. Have you been able to get in contact with Epic Games in the meantime?

Please let us know if you have any queries! 🙂

Hey @naughty_glimmer ,

Thanks for keeping us in the loop with their response.

I'm sorry we haven't been able to help in this instance, but hope it's handy in future that we do have stores for your country now.

If there's anything more we can help with here or with anything else, please don't hesitate to reach back out!

Hey @batmento!

As the game was bought from fanatical some time ago, unfortunately, your best bet would likely be to re-purchase and make sure the version has your preferred language before you purchase again. As for adding English text, I'm not able to speculate on that and would advise keeping an eye on our Discussions for any future potential updates. I know these aren't ideal answers or the ones you were hoping for and I'm really sorry about that.
