Hey @alosha8 would you be able to try the following steps, to see if this continues?

 

• System File Checker tool  
• Check for Windows and GPU updates   
• Clean Boot

Hi @alosha8 Thanks for going through those steps, to check are you running anything else with Apex? If not can you try the following if you have not, 

 

• Clear Origin Cache  
• Repair the game via Origin
• Disable Origin in-game overlay and any other running overlay
