[2020] Before Season 4 hits and things get wild...

I want to take a hot second to sincerely thank Respawn. You guys have made a game that I think most of us would easily pay full AAA price for, and it's free to play. You've created a game that has something for everyone. Whether you're a hardcore, competitive esport gamer or a gamer chasing a story, there's something for you in Apex.

I have a lot of friends who play all sorts of different games and they all enjoy Apex. I have friends that have been playing World of Warcraft for over a decade, getting them to play anything else is almost impossible, but they like coming to play Apex. I have friends who have been playing Counter-Strike since we were in middle school. They play it all day to keep their rank, but they hop off to play Apex. This game has brought me and a lot of my old friends together and it's really awesome.

Personally I was a drug addict for quite a while. When I finally cleaned up and logged back into Steam for the first time in years, I saw all of my old friends playing all sorts of different games. I could never get them all into the same game like when we all used to play Counter-Strike together. But when Apex came out, they all jumped into lobbies together and it was like we were 15 again, gaming out all night.

Apex is something special, and if Season 4's teasers and trailers are a good judgement of what's to come, this season is going to be nuts.

I know you guys catch a lot of flack, but thank you for Apex.
