@davidclarke3 Can you try reloading the checkpoint/smashing both locks/activating the generator? Let us know if that works!

If this scenario applies to you, please reach out to PlayStation customer service to refund the Standard Edition pre-order. Then the system will default to the early access date.
This issue in part seems to be caused by pre-ordering the standard edition of Marvel’s Avengers, and then deciding to also purchase the Digital Deluxe edition for early access. When this happens, the system will prioritize the latest playable date – in this case, 9/4.

@Ddogg80859 @Robb_with2bs We are getting a few reports that if you purchased the standard first and the deluxe second, this issue pops up. Contacting PlayStation for a refund of the standard edition has resolved it for a few people. We will keep looking though!
