@Euadi2 Depends on the mission: this one is a simple early one where your objective is just to waste materials fabricating these useless(?) lead ducks, and the challenge is doing that undetected.
@symmrecur @kareem_carr @HanKuleGutten @diana_h It'd require an infinite number of terms.
@UlyssesDriver At least for the time being I have my hands too full with Barotrauma (and tbh I think it's more fun to work with your own IP than riffing off others' ideas). The CC license the SCP Foundation is also a bit of a deterrent to me. But who knows, maybe some day! :)
@symmrecur @kareem_carr @HanKuleGutten @diana_h 0.99... is never going to end, hence it's as close to 1 as you can get (which would be 1). "0.00...1" is also never going to end, it's just an infinite number of zeroes and a 1 that never comes, so it's as close to 0 as you can get (which would be 0)
@janeyfargo Personally I feel like there must still be some kind of steps involved in turning the "deeper", messy, complex (and mostly subconscious) thought processes into words. Although I guess those steps are more or less subconscious too for most people.
This is more satisfying than it has any right to be #barotrauma #clowntraitors
@symmrecur @kareem_carr @HanKuleGutten @diana_h There's no "middle". "0.00...1" essentially means "an infinite number of zeroes, and after those zeroes comes a 1" - but there's no "after", the zeroes never end so the 1 will never come.
@voidvlux Ofc I can, but unless I'm thinking of something that needs to be expressed in words, I see no need for that extra step of converting my thoughts into words.
@goof_mango @HBAcrypto @PicturesFoIder Then why does the original post say people with no internal dialogue have nothing going on in their head?
@HBAcrypto @PicturesFoIder I find it scary that there are people who think in words, and can't really even fathom how they can function normally or think about things that can't be expressed in words
@bkaradzic >haha this person who's obviously a beginner trying to figure out how to make games doesn't fully grasp what this rendering library is for or how to use git, look at him and laugh Yeah really cool
@sh*tpostRock: Finland can't stop winning
@zeezenfrozen @sh*tpostRock Just the same dev
@InTheToolbox: I took the time to try #barotrauma on my lunchbreak today. I was not disappointed, thank you @UndertowGames and @FakeFish…
@Bushmandarrell9 The CI used some kind of an anomalous object to seal the tunnel (you can even see it closing up if you look behind) to prevent the Foundation personnel from following you, and then took you in.
@Bushmandarrell9 This is intentionally left vague, but "you know too much" could refer to D-9341 knowing it was the CI that caused the breach, or perhaps something related to the spiral gestalt or his anomalous ability to "respawn".
@Bushmandarrell9 I think a lot of people have figured it out. :) this one is pretty close, although the "it's out" message was intended to mean Maynard (or an associate of his) had let SCP-106 out, serving as a distraction while they carry out the rest of the plan.
We should've implemented this years ago
@Bushmandarrell9 Which mystery specifically - why he got demoted to class D?
Most of our team is starting to head out for summer vacations. While we are away and slower to respond for a few weeks, you can already begin sneak peeking at the next #barotrauma update in the Unstable test version! More info here: #gamedev #indiegame
