Won't be the last time, EA Anti Cheat will receive constant updates going forward, and we've a duty to ensure that as many people have the ability to play as possible. It's a tough thing to go back and do it for old titles, but we're trying!
I heard that cheaters can bypass this eaac completely by deleting the files of eaac, which is LOLOLOLOL
We haven't enabled kicks yet if you launch the game without EAAC running. We want to ensure everything looks good before we perform that step.
We're actively aware that some individuals are unable to launch the game and are experiencing crashing scenarios following today's Anti Cheat update on Battlefield V. Stay tuned as we continue to work on it.

We have previously confirmed via our BattlefieldComm platform that we are aware of matchmaking issues with Battlefield V. Currently some players are unable to matchmake via the standard Quickplay functionality.
While we are working to correct this, there will be downtime for Xbox and PC platforms this coming Monday (09:00 UTC) for an hour. Once this downtime has taken place, we anticipate that the issue will be resolved.

I was hoping for final stand and airborne modes in CG as well. I did see their reply about why grind wasn’t included in CG but I did think we would at least see these modes again at some point. I was also pretty convinced we were gunna get the eastern front as well, so there’s that.
Still a great game and getting more excited for bf6 by the day.

I have no idea about what the answer to your questions are - In fact, maybe it actually doesn't even really make sense that I reply to this comment - I just felt kind of rude not doing it after I realized I'd been tagged (even if it is a literal month later lol + I don't actually work at DICE anymore).
Technically, the Grind and Fortress maps share a lot of similarities - there were a lot of mode settings tweaking that differ from the normal settings for those modes, which I suspect is what the great and ever-cool dude partwelsh was addressing in that post.
