More important question.
Did Dennis have a large smile when he did the VO for this?
Yes
"Various visual improvements to the Lightsaber blades for all heroes, adding pointed tips and improving their brightness."
Blaster heroes can crouch as of Wednesday next week.
Hold on a f**king minute, did this just confirm arcade is getting actual content?
We've only used the words PvE, and we'll keep using those words...until August. We don't even have names for the new modes yet.
Please answer this, will the droidekas have their iconic blaster sound?
I'm told the audio is on point yes.
"More on the way"... Seems like a tease for PvE!
More info on the way. We'll have more to share in August on the new PvE stuff.
It's not a horde mode, as I've seen some speculating.
Droidekas, TX-130s and Naboo CS all look really impressive. Any ETA on the patch notes?
Early next week
I unfortunately see myself rolling right off the edges of the walkways.
Happens to the best of us...
The whole sequence has a lot of The Phantom Menace in it. I'm very certain it was used as reference and inspiration.
It rhymes!
Correct

When the Battlefront sub posts about Swedish midsummer, I feel happy to be a swede.
Glad midsommar!
Forget the video... What the hell is a Jordgubbar???
It's midsummer so expect lots of Strawberries, often mixed with cake.
Brilliant!
This dude takes no risks. He's positive about stuff literally everyone loves and he's critical on everything thats currently in the spotlight of controvercy. He's basicly r/gaming personified.
My comment was about the wider gaming community, not against any one person. Same way you don't see real world news channels reporting on feel good stories, it's all doom and gloom.
Read moreIt’s sad when you realize that a lot of people who initially reported on Battlefront 2’s launch controversy never followed up on that reporting a year later to actually give an update to everyone on how the game has changed and improved, how it’s not dead, how the developers and the community moved on, etc.
That one YouTuber, YongYea, was essentially making a new “Battlefront 2 bad” video almost every other day of the week throughout late November/December of 2017. Never did make a video around, say, November of 2018, a full year later, to talk about how the game is actually way different and better than it was a year prior. Because that would hurt his image of always being the critic and giving the juicy coverage on controversial games.
He’s doing this sort of thing with Anthem right now actually, and the poor launch that that game has had. I’ll bet you anything that if Anthem does make a comeback (which I doubt it actually will, but that’s a separate discussion ...
Because "It's good" doesn't drive hit or clicks.
Im no longer drunk and currently waiting for my luggage to go home :(
But hello! Good morning/night I dunno what time of day you are at but I hope it’s a good one.
Have a pleasant trip home :)
Hi drunk.
I miss freeing R2 D2 from the detention block, that map was just amazing and needs to return. In fact the whole Death Star DLC needs to return. K2 is definitely a must.
I feel Iike droids should be a reinforcement on any maps where the objective involves hacking consoles or technology. (Death Star/ Endor/ Naboo etc) they should have weaker health and basic weaponary like a shock probe but as an insentive for choosing them, they should speed up the time it takes to hack an objective.
This way, you could implement iconic droids like BB-8, C3P0, R2, K2 etc, without having to do anything to change the maps. Just give them basic weaponary, scan pulse, K2 could have a weak ass pistol, low health, low speed but faster objective capture times.
u/F8RGE - in what context where you referring to droids? What role would you seen them playing?
Question was in regard to possible reinforcements
