Really enjoying the game thus far, also an ex-ark player. It obviously has a lot more thought on gameplay than just adding content but be wary of adding too much too fast, thats the mistake Ark made. The more recent dlc showed signs of this as they dont have furniture crafting stations, also ymir needs fixing.
Is there going to be a way to speed up purge meters for semi regular players? I am on most evenings but often miss a day for real life commitments. This keeps my purge bar low even when others in my clan are on. It would be nice if you could attach thrall npcs to crucifixes instead of the wheel of pain to increase the purge meter.
Oh we are very aware. That is the reason we did focus on stabilizing and improving the core mechanisms end of last and yearly this year before adding more content. We learned from our mistakes last year. We feel now is a good time to at least starting to add more content again (because that is also important, especially to our more veteran players). You can adjust the Purge Meter for your single or co-op game (or private server).
I’m currently downloading the game and wanted to see what the community was like, I’m happy to see a post like this and I will tell my friends to jump on the game

There are also great private servers with amazing communities for any taste. The Conan Exiles Facebook group and Discord are good places to ask for help or server suggestions
Your presence among us definitely helps when you talk to us. I love this game, and plan on playing for a long time still. Hope this game stays alive on your end for as long as it's deemed feasible. Thank you for this game.
We try to engage as much as we can with the team available. I wish we could cover more bases though and are working on that :)

Seems like this PS4 promo is drawing a lot of players in. What are the chances of doing something like that with XB1? Game pass or games with gold?

As appreciated as it is, the guys above are just referencing all the other mentions from the community that's been giving everyone the impression that development for CE is stopping. :)
(don't worry not gonna bug you guys about "mounts wen?", know all the reasons. Though most things simply get shut down with a no without a clear indication of what will still be expanded in CE)
Development isn't stopping. Every 1 or 2 months this topic keeps being brought up and we just sit here all confused as we're still going strong on the game and working on all these cool things. Just because we took a few months off to focus on bugfixing doesn't mean that we stopped working on it :) As we said, keep an eye on our communication channels!

We're really happy to have you as part of your community.
I feel that us working and improving on the game as much as we can, and also working and trying to listen to the community as much as we can, is the way to go forward. Conan Exiles is a complex game and, like any game, it is not for everyone.
We are currently focusing on performance and issues specific to/on consoles (after we focused on issues that were present on all platforms and on strengthening the foundations of the game up until the recent Steam Free weekend). We are still working on improving our existing mechanics (building, purge, AI, Thrall/Pet System) but are now also re-focusing on new mechanics and content.
We hope that we get to a point where our community can grow through word of mouth and because our players see the effort and our willingness to work with the community to improve the game.

Im crashing every 30 min, seems like when I open my crafting menu and scroll right with dpad AND left stick to make it go over faster it crashes frequently. Best I can tell at least, I’ll try to observe more

It's unfortunately a known bug. It should not affect ownership, internally the items are assigned to your clan. But on the interface, it is shown as "No owner". Our team is working on a fix that is undergoing some QA tests. Once it's passed them, we will release it as a patch.
It's an eon away from a dungeon.

I apologise for the tag guys, though this thread is important and well worth considering. All the polishing and bugfixing is starting to make the game shine and it shows in the responses you guys are getting and playercounts on Steam and reviews.
If there's anything that signals to the higher ups that Conan Exiles is worth investing and expanding upon to something greater and pushing the envelope - now's the time. No need to respond here, but hope it helps.

Its fun. But damn what a weird community. Multiple "dead" discords. The one being advertised here doesn't exist anymore. Just makes me feel like I started playing a dead game.
The wiki is really crappy too. You'd think information about this would be better since It's been out for a while

Just to clear any confusion: we don't wipe any official servers. Private server owners are free to do so on their servers if they so desire. Some might have a reason for it (server seasons).
Ignasis, and how about those incorrect 2-3 minutes purges which are happening? Any news about them?
We're investigating what could be the cause for that one.
