@RMcElhenney @BoredApeYC oh come on man :(
here's a little link in case u forgot. just in case. hehe
(other additions in this update: Korean language support, Discord rich presence)
now back to work on the upcoming building!
but anyway! i've just updated Cookie Clicker on Steam with Workshop support and we're very excited to see what people come up with. please don't actually download my Pilk example mod it's awful
you can right-click on anything you like and have it in your inventory to do whatever you want with. there is no marketplace, no exclusive ownership, no celeb-sponsored item events. it's been 3 years since you've last heard the word "fungible"
you check your messages; there’s a new gift notification. it’s a little pixel teapot a friend of yours made. you proudly display it in your intro lobby next to your sh*tpost corner
give discord servers more physicality... it needs to have *rooms* not just "rooms" y'feel
and i mean this in a ultima online animal crossing way not in a facebook metaverse way
i don't want all these social media abstractions anymore. i want full skeuomorphism. i want web profiles to feel and look like little custom-furnished houses i can visit. i wanna visit my friends online
@moawko get their asses
i tend to shelve or tone down some of my sandbox game ideas like "a persistent world that size would take up way too much disk space and resources" as if people haven't spent 10 years happily playing infinite Minecraft maps with a billion mods
hm
our DPaint-using ancestors would frown upon the lack of palette-cycling stamp brushes in our art software
open-world tetris
i hope it's understood that i don't object to video game NFTs as a game dev who feels threatened by them, but as a player who's really not looking forward to crypto infecting every franchise i used to love the way microtransactions and lite gambling did over the past decade
@Mossworm1 yea!!!!!!!!!!
@Mossworm1 sunlight mukbang
@Mossworm1 bon appetit
through my work i hope to make the answer to "if it's stupid but it works, is it really stupid?" an emphatic "yes"
