Depends on where you're playing for the most part. Northern Lords and Fate of Iberia are fantastic if you play as a Norse or Iberian ruler respectively, but since those are regional flavor packs you won't get much out of them if you're playing somewhere else.

Royal Court and Friends & Foes are region agnostic and apply to the entire game, however.

Greek cultures have access to the forbidden castration technique right out of the gate.

Set your beta branch to none and it'll download the latest public version of the game, which is 1.8.0 as of right now.

Non credo che questo sia previsto al momento. Tuttavia, trasmetterò la sua richiesta al team!

P.S. Sto usando anche un traduttore.

It's a possible outcome during fumbled homage events; in this case the Count of Astorga had an infatuation event happen while giving homage to their liege, and made a smooth recovery.

For an Iceland campaign I'd suggest Northern Lords and Royal Court, but as Razorblade pointed out you can get the expansion pass for slightly over the cost of RC to get everything up to Fate of Iberia.

As vortex_13 said, Major Updates usually break save compatibility in one way or another. We strongly advise players to wrap up any existing campaigns before updating.

Once 1.8 is live, the latest 1.7.x version will be available as a beta branch for those who still have campaigns in progress.

I'm a king now, and when I declare war it shows that I have 600 soldiers but I have an Vasall with 850 soldiers, doesn't they help me with their 850 soldiers because of the vasall contract they have or can I call them to help me?

Your vassals will provide you with a set number of their soldiers based on the contract you have with them. Higher levy obligation = more troops provided. Vassals typically don't join your wars, however.

I can't answer the first without more information (screenshots etc) about the state of your realm before the war, but the second is fairly straight forward.

The Earl may hold the title to the land, but the land itself is part of the King's realm. If you declare war, you'll be fighting the King and any support he can muster from his vassals/allies since you're trying to take land from his realm.

If you want to fight the Earl by himself without the King's involvement, then you'd have to swear fealty to the King in question. He only cares if the war would result in land leaving his realm; fights between vassals are generally beneath his notice.

It's something our Stockholm team is definitely interested in implementing, but it's hard to justify spending time and resources on something like that without having a good feel for how much demand there is.

In other words, if you want to see army automation in the PC version, then sound off and let us know. We'll look into it if there's enough people clamoring for it.

Learning skill is useful for increasing the development rate in your counties, and your culture's fascination progress. Stewardship is useful for taking advantage of that development and fascination progress.

Think of it as increasing capacity vs filling capacity.

I can definitely see why that would be upsetting. Can't promise specific changes or a timeline on anything, but I'll forward this to the rest of the team so we can look into it.

Apologies, but that's not correct. Our most recent update was 1.7.2 on September 29th.

Strong Hooks aren't intended to prevent someone from accepting a Call to Arms, as we feel that would make strong hooks excessively overpowered.
