I think this post has been necro'd enough now.

Please disable any mods you're using and see if the issue persists; this is a common issue caused by outdated mods.

I notice it has two building slots that aren't your normal I see frequently

I have walls, mansions, and a port built, but for my 4th and final, I'm having issues deciding between Regimental Grounds or farmland for the money.

What would you all recomend?
The town in the province already has a port, guilds and cattle.

Thank you!

You'll eventually end up with more money than you can reasonably spend towards the end of the timeline if you go all-in on economic buildings, so I'd recommend building the Regimental Grounds if your current income is s...

This is a pretty good modlist that doesn't deviate too much from the vanilla experience. None of the mods here are reliant on the others, so you can just freely pick which ones sound interesting to you.

Do note that the person managing the modlist hasn't updated it in a few months, so a couple of the mods may be out of date.

We typically don't like to share information like that, since it sets specific expectations. Plans change and Stuff Happens, so we prefer to wait until things are properly set in stone before telling people what we've been working on.

Nobody likes hearing about delays or cancellations, and we certainly don't like announcing them.

I can't promise a specific outcome, but I'll forward this thread to the rest of the team for consideration.

Realistically you're going to have to make one if you expect this to be addressed. And whatever Trin says that is rarely the case - The Steam forums are loud, busy and largely unmoderated (in comparison to the PDX forums)

You're going to have a much more constructive experience over there.

Mansen is generally correct in that the official Paradox Pla... Read more

To be clear, we do read the Steam forums and take suggestions like this into consideration. You're not shouting into the void when you post in our community hub.

This is caused by one of your mods. Based on the errors, it looks like Dynamic UI Themes is the culprit here. Disabling that should stop the error spam.

Originally posted by o: uh.. i found a fix - create error.log folder and remove all permissions on it.

I wouldn't recommend doing this, as it would make it considerably more difficult to diagnose any issues you may have in the future.

Originally posted by lemurs2: No, it is 100% because Paradox is incompetent. After 22 years they have still never realized that 'mean time to happen' is a disaster in a game. This has less MttH than CK2 but it is still a large problem.

While I do not believe we utilize MTTH in CK3, it sounds like there might be some confusion on the terminology that we might be encountering. Would you be so kind as to provide some instances where this has happened so that we could help identify the situation and hopefully clarify what is going on?

This is a known issue with Tribal Courts; we're investigating and hope to have a fix for it soon.

In the meantime, some users have reported that you can work around this issue by viewing the court of a Feudal character before opening your own court.

Major updates are essentially guaranteed to break save compatibility, so that's unlikely.

Rule of thumb is to assume that your saves will be incompatible with any other major version of the game (eg: 1.5.x and 1.6.x).

No. Outdated save files will load in 1.6, but due to map and history files changes in 1.6 you will eventually run into stability issues.

It's strongly recommended that you start a new game for 1.6 or roll back to 1.5.x to continue your existing campaigns.

We have seen a fair amount of reports from players not being able to play the game on PC since Fate of Iberia was released. We think we have identified the issue and are working on a fix. People who are affected are likely those with a an older set of CPUs. These issues are mostly affecting CPUs that do not offer AVX support.

We've made numerous updates to the multiplayer backend since the game's original launch; it should be able to handle significantly more players while remaining stable.
