Hello beta players!
Please post bugs that you find in these forums so we can get aware of them and solve them during the beta phase.
This will be a thread about known bugs and issues in the beta. I will try to update it as often as possible and post what we are working on.

Known bugs:

World map scaling
We will work on the issue where the map is scaling too big.

Mage glitch
Infinitely hover around by rapidly pressing shift

Climbing bug
You can climb infinitely by spamming space and E against a wall

Looting Items trough a wall/ closed door

waypoints placed on water cant be removed

A gem vendor was killed when I was talking to him and had the shop opened. The shop window didn't close and then I also got killed, respawned and the window was still opened.

Using the campfire crashes the game.

Pet health
"Pet health changes everytime I play a bit and reopen Cubeworld"

Hello,
as there is no guide to play our game out yet I just wanted to give you some tips beforehand!

Collect everything you find
For a new player it's always important to have enough material to craft/sell.

Try to find a town
As soon as you get to a town you can
craft gear, health potions, buy gear, fly to your friends with the flightmaster

Find shrines to get more spawn/teleporting points

Talk to Npcs
They probably have tips for you ;)

Look for enemys/quests with your gear rarity. The order is white, green, blue, purple, yellow.

You can look at your gear level in the character stats when you open the inventory.

Yes you can level up!
You can find artifacts in every land to level up but you have to gear up first.

How to play multiplayer?
Go to a town and look for a flight master. There you can fly for free to your friends by clicking on them (wing icon on the map).

Dear Cube World Community,

I think this is the right place for this. This is where it all started, where my little passion project came to life and became something much bigger.

Here is my explanation why everything took me so long, why there were no updates and so on...

When I released Cube World back in 2013 on our homepage, I was enthusiastic to finally share my game with you. It was a dream come true for me, I wanted to be a game developer since I was a kid.

As some of you might remember, we got DDoS'ed as soon as we opened the shop. It might sound silly, but this event traumatized me and kind of broke something inside me. I never told anyone about it, and I don't want to go into the details, but I'm dealing with anxiety and depression ever since. Social media didn't improve it, as you might imagine. Some more tips:
- You can zoom the camera with CTRL+mousewheel
- Find enemies/quests of your gear level: white < green < blue < purple < yellow
- You can level up by finding artifacts, but you need good gear (weapons, armor) first
- Talk to NPCs

Tips for playing the beta!

While I want you to find out most things by yourselves, here are some not-so-obvious tips:
F1 shows the controls of your character.
F2,F3 resize the GUI.
In multiplayer, you can fly to your friends for free via the flight master.

Beta will start tomorrow on 12AM PDT (midnight), 9AM CEST. It will be a ~150MB update in Steam.

In this short video you can see the new assassin skill "Poison Vial". You can throw the vial at enemies or on the ground to poison them and deal AOE damage. #cubeworld

Here's a short clip demonstrating the "Travel History" feature of the world map. On the lower left you can navigate to all previously visited lands. E.g. after a multiplayer session with your friend in a different land, you can easily return to your current "questing land".
