That happens when an update is released while you're downloading, for some reason Steam just decides to restart, unfortunate but it happens.

On a side note, I have linked my account in order to be allowed to post on the discord for bugs I find, but it is still locked for me. Should I just continue to use the feedback option in game in the meantime?

For now yeah until we fix the bot issues, we do receive the in-game feedback.

Most of us are going to keep from playing the game at the moment due to the current state of the alpha, you're barely able to test anything that is multiplayer based and with that your only option is single player. the guns look amazing, but without working and SAVING multiplayer. its not worth anyone's time until its fixed.
