The "GSG" being both prefix and suffix is killing me.
So, I started in the industry in 1999, when Counter-Strike took off, and clan abbreviations were all the rage. It was always three letters in brackets in front of your nickname, so when I started here and I had to make a GSG account, it made sense to put it in front... and I hadn't seen that everyone else put it at the end, like some sort of butt.
As I am the Community Manager, my way is obviously correct, even though the wrong way predates it. Oh, and I think Pedro probably just copied me. Either that, or he's brilliant.
Wondering when Embracer Group is going to start helping the lads out read somewhere that they either Taking full ownership or already own GSG. They got some serious money.
Edit: also since Embracer owns Tomb Raider now I'd like to see some Ice Picks for the dwarfs 🤣
Hey there. It seems to be a common misconception that everything can be solved by throwing money at it. The reason DRG doesn’t have crossplay isn’t because we need a bag of money to finance it. Currently the multiplayer works on a very basic premise. You host a game, tell the online service that the game is available, and that lets people join you directly. To get crossplay to work, a lot of things would have to be redone or changed. Yes, that would cost money, but the actual cost would be a major resource hog diverting people to implement it, upkeep, not to mention the toll it would take on our QA. Adding to that, it would completely disrupt our workflow, and add weeks if not months to each release due to us having to release on several platforms simultaneously. We’d also have to hold all platforms back if there’s one critical error on one of them.
That said, we’ve not ruled it out, we just don’t have any plans to do so currently. And, as mentioned elsewhere, Embracer ...

It's one of the current top posts, and I don't think we want to establish a presedent by rewarding people putting game art on their bodies. It's a personal choice, and that should be the sole motivation.
