Hello CMDR, there isn't currently the option to further zoom into the minimap when on foot! If this is something you'd like to see added you can submit this idea on our suggestions forum here https://forums.frontier.co.uk/forums/elite-dangerous-suggestions/

We've previously experienced some issues with our database and this likely affected account linking and password reset functionalities.

The issue has since been resolved and you should now be able to link the accounts.
