Hi there! The 'update required' message is a little misleading, as it actually means that Steam is unable to detect base game access. Please send us a ticket via https://customersupport.frontier.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/4404297427858-How-do-I-log-in-to-Elite-Dangerous-through-Steam-or-the-Epic-Games-store- and we should be able to help with this :)

Hello CMDR, your CMDRs ranks cannot degrade or be lost in any way. There have been instances of the trophy popping incorrectly for console players, even if your rank isn't there yet. Hi there CMDR, if you're running into the soft-lock in the shipyard, if you turn OFF "Disable GUI settings" then that will prevent the softlock while we look into it.
