Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the game! Alt+Enter should help, you can also modify your settings under Options > Graphics > Display > Resolution. Do make sure your GPU drivers are up to date as well but we can also take a look at your DisplaySettings.xml file if you could get in touch with the support team via https://customersupport.frontier.co.uk/hc/en-us

My bad, so the combat training is not installed by default. Did you try delete the COMBAT_TUTORIAL_DEMO folder? Does it remove the training from the launcher?

I don't think there is a way to uninstall the Single player combat training as it's included as part of the base Elite: Dangerous experience.
