We've been incredibly impressed with the amount you've contributed to the CG's that launched yesterday already, so much so that you had almost completed one of them by the time I logged in to work this morning! With that in mind, the team have discussed our options and have decided to add very high extension tiers to the CG's in order to give players a chance to engage with the content over the intended period.

We will of course still count your early efforts in terms of the overall success of the CG, we won't be taking that win away from you. It's been a fantastic combined effort from every Commander involved!

We're seeing an elevated number of reports this late afternoon regarding issues around logging into Elite Dangerous accounts via the Steam Launcher.

The team area aware and investigating.
Hopefully all will be resolved shortly.

Here today to share an information update with you regarding reports and discussions being had around Commanders experiencing stability issues, Orange Sidewinder disconnects and instances of incorrect texturing, after updating their AMD RX 6000 series card drivers.

The team have been investigating disconnect logs and issue reports over the course of some time and we'd like to reassure you that these investigations remain ongoing.

Just a heads up regarding Community activity this weekend.
As you know, Lavecon is back (thank goodness!) and we're going to be hosting a fun instalment of our own as part of the event's general scheduled, streamed activities.

We'll be hosting Frameshift Live #12 at around 14:30 BST on Saturday the 16th of July, over on the official Elite Dangerous Twitch Channel.

Elite Dangerous: Odyssey Update 12 is coming tomorrow! All Elite Dangerous servers will be down for the update from 9AM BST. Downtime will be approximately 4 hours.

We're aware of a large number of Commanders experiencing Scarlet Krait errors followed by game crashes when attempting to get into the Galaxy on all platforms currently.

We have identified an issue with Update 12 that needs to be addressed prior to launch in order to ensure a smooth rollout on all platforms. As a result we are moving the release of Update 12 to Wednesday 8th June.
