Just to clarify how the new system works - System difficulty has been effectively simplified and is now a more simple, linear relationship. System difficulty still gets higher the closer the system is to a Titan, but is intended that even close systems are now entirely contestable via in system action (e.g. AXCZs) Here is a 100% professionally drawn example. Just as a clarification, any Thargoid war action within a Spire system will result in spread pushback. For example, destroying Interceptors or completing an Anti Xeno Combat Zone.

You will still receive rewards, they will just be different to the ones shown.

Greetings Commanders! Following player feedback and internal reviews of the Thargoid War and Titan progression, we are making a number of significant changes. These changes are designed to make the war more accessible, and ensure that every contribution at any time feels valuable. These changes will take effect with the release of 18.06 on Tuesday 28th May. Release Schedule
  • 08:00 BST - Live/4.0 Servers offline for update
  • 12:00 BST - Servers Online and Update available
Please note that these times are subject to change. War Contribution & Bounty Changes Whilst numerous gameplay options are available to contribute to the war effort, certain gameplay loops have proven more efficient than others - with scout sampling a clear outlier. Elite Dangerous Live/4.0 server maintenance is now complete and Update 18.05 has been deployed. Please allow time for all servers to come back online as some of them really overdid it last night and are still shaking off their hangovers.

Sorry to post here but this is my last resort. There's no way to request customer support. At least for now. Right after 18.05 update, "Continue" button is replaced with "Start" button which leads to "tutorial mission". Please let me continue my save and please let up to create "customer ticket" as in-game "help and info" says so.
Hey CMDR, This issue can sometimes occur after an update. Simply select Start and you will initial the in-game tutorial. You'd want to immediate skip the tutorial to return back to the main menu. Whilst I do appreciate your endorsement for my new line of 'Thin Metallic Psionic Defence Caps' (Available now at all imaginary retailers) the downtime is an estimated frame to ensure we can do any checks that need to be done. There is every chance the update may be available sooner if the stars align or it could take longer if the server cyberhamster forgot to recharge its batteries.

Greetings Commanders, An update will be released for Elite Dangerous Live/4.0 on Thursday 16 May. The update will contain the following fixes:
  • Fixed issues with Guardian Fighters hit check not behaving correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where attempting to swap a core internal module with a stored module was being blocked for Pre-Built ships.
  • Ensured new players correctly remain in Solo Play until performing an initial hyperspace jump which will then transition players into Open Play.
Release Schedule
  • 7AM UTC/8 AM BST - Live/4.0 Servers Offline
  • 9AM UTC/10AM BST - Servers Online and Update 18.05 available

A system score correction has now been applied for systems related to several Titans using information taken during the 18.04 update. However, we have also applied compensation to a number of systems to capture as much player progress as possible since the release of 18.04.

We have encountered some issues with the Thargoid War mechanics, corrections have now been deployed and should be working as intended once more. We are currently working on correcting system scores.

Same message, the good news is that server side we can see your ARX balance, you haven't lost anything! a relog should hopefully update your balance but we are looking into possible reasons from our side as well.

Since update I have zero arx. Before I had a couple thousands
So, the great news is that server side we can see your ARX balance, you haven't lost anything! It may just be worth a relog to see if that updates your balance but we are looking into possible reasons from our side as well.

We are aware of an issue affecting some players when changing core modules - the team are working on a fix for this. In the meantime, purchasing a new module for the desired internal slot and swapping to the stored one you wish to use, will solve this. Thanks for your patience o7
