Hi [USER=186768]@Paul_Crowther[/USER] just a quick question, on legacy here but lost the ability to see paintjobs on Legacy or access the livery on station or FC ? Has the update affected legacy ? In any way ? Yes I know legacy isn't getting work done But this only happened . Many thanks
Legacy is unaffected by Live/4.0 updates so I would suggest reaching out to our support team.

Greetings Commanders! We will be releasing a new update on Wednesday 10th April for the live/4.0 version of Elite Dangerous. This update will included the heavily hinted at addition of a new frame shift drive with a brand new feature! The update schedule is as follows (All times are in BST):
  • 06:00 - Maintenance notifications
  • 08:00 - Servers offline as update and maintenance begin
  • 12:00 - Servers back online and update 18.02 available

Getting a weird graphical bug occasionally when surface scanning planets. I thought I fixed this before by reinstalling my graphics drivers, but it seems that isn't working this time. Anyone know how to fix it?

My friend gets a black window/frozen loading screen upon launching the game. I recently gifted Elite Dangerous to a friend of mine. He has the right hardware and space for it but whenever he presses play on the launcher he gets a black windowed screen and is unable to play. Pictures Below:
