Greetings Commanders, We will be releasing Update 18.01 on Thursday 7th March to resolve some issues during the usual Thursday maintenance. Downtime is expected to be approximately 3 hours. Release Schedule:
 • 5AM UTC - In game broadcasts begin
 • 7AM UTC - Downtime commences
 • 10AM UTC - Update 18.01 releases and servers back online
Update Notes
 • A fix for Titan vents becoming stuck and the core not being exposed. A nice amount of WD40 can solve many issues.
 • A fix to stop Titan cores becoming exposed multiple times when vents are blocked. The cores will now be a little more reserved.
 • Fixed instances of incorrectly triggering Titan behaviour post destruction. They won't show off quite as much when they are supposed to be having a bad time.
Keep an eye on this thread and our social channels for updates!

250M - HUGE decal (y)
Actually we've just added in my latest mix tape. It's six hours of incoherent screaming. I expect it to do well in the charts.

There will be a small update, around the 250MB mark.

Any word on if this patch will also fix the bug not allowing CMDRs to apply an Experimental Effect to the 5A Pre-Engineered FSD?
This update fixes the issues listed in the notes. We do continue to investigate other reported issues, but this update resolves those specifically mentioned.

Folks, we've gone a bit mean in here. If everyone doesn't start playing nicely you'll make the eldritch horror that is always watching you sad. They've been secretly cheering you on all this time, so don't disappoint them and their many tentacled limbs.

Nice! One question on "In order to receive rewards from future Titan destruction you will need to have taken part by damaging the heat core". Can we qualify for these future rewards by doing damage to the other Titan's cores at ANY time or is there is key moment when "the phone lines will be open" for each one? For example ... the last couple of days I travelled to the seven remaining Titans and did some damage to each exposed core (a small amount, but enough in each case to earn some combat bonds from it). Have I therefore now already qualified for all the future Titan rewards?
Thanks for igniting an interesting discussion on our side! To be eligible for the incremental Titan rewards you will need to do the following: 1) Have done damage to the heat core of a Titan within one week prior to it going into meltdown. 2) You need to have earned... Read more

Greetings Commanders! After a monumentally coordinated and dedicated offensive from Commanders all across the Milky Way, the Thargoid Titan Taranis was critically damaged to the point it could no longer maintain its systems, causing it to enter meltdown and beautifully explode into a blooming cloud of deadly caustic remains. So many pilots came together to undertake this colossal mission and no doubt the Thargoids of the other Titans are quaking in their chitinous booties. As you wait for the caustic cloud to dissipate so we can take a gander at what fresh juicy goodies lurk within, 7 Titans still remain a threat. Titan Leigong is humanity's probable next target, but it still needs a bit of weakening by reducing the number of systems it controls Now that the fireworks have come to an end, we wanted to talk about that thing we know you are all excited to know more about...the rewards! As the destruction of Taranis was such a major occasion and we know that some people couldn't contri... Read more

I genuinely (Not sarcasm) appreciate that some of you look at the entire bloody history of humanity vs the Thargoids and say: "If not friend, why friend shaped?" Never change Commanders. You make that Thargoid hug you whether it likes it or not.

Just to avoid panic, whilst on paper these requirements might sound like a challenge they are easily in line with how things went with Taranis and have been designed to be achievable without someone doing this 👇 to the Titans and then wandering off to get the same rewards as those who've been diligently doing their part for humanity.

So.... CMDRs should earn 2Mil creds minimum in total (not at once) within a week before the meltdown to receive the reward? (Non-english speakers are struggling too XD)
Over the week. You also do not need to have cashed in the bond.

Please keep it friendly folks. My phylactery is already full up this month from negative energy and it gets really difficult to stop the excess reanimating the dead.

You don't need to have destroyed a core to be eligible for the rewards. You simply need to have done damage. So solo players who did damage are eligible.

A swarm of chittering voices cried out and were suddenly silenced... You did it! An armada of pilots from all throughout the Milky Way gathered together to strike down the Titan Taranis, causing a catastrophic failure of it's core and systems. The resulting explosions burst across the sky like fireworks on New Years Eve with scores of pilots watching from a (hopefully) safe distance. The resulting cloud of debris and gas is a bit too hazardous to venture into currently but reports do indicate that there may be something inside waiting to be explored and that the cloud may dissipate within a matter of weeks. Congratulations to everyone who took part in this momentous event! There are still 7 more Titans awaiting your bombardment, their crew no doubt quivering in their chitinous lairs. Rewards for taking part will be awarded soon!

The cosmetic rewards are available to all who participate in taking down the core of a giant death tulip.

Greetings Commanders! The fight against the Titan Taranis is nearing its dramatic conclusion! Taranis has already lost 6 out of it's 8 hearts, with the 7th well on the way to destruction! With so many Commanders unleashing the full power of humanity against our alien oppressors, we wanted to clear up a few things about the Titan rewards. Arx
 • Commanders who should have received their Arx when engaging the Titan have been granted them. There is no UI message letting you know this has happened but rest assured your Arx has already been transferred to your accounts.
 • The Arx reward for fighting the Titan heat source is
 • awarded live after each heart is killed, and each titan has 8 hearts. Note that your contribution percentage towards Arx resets after every heart kill. The top 10% of contributors to each heart receive 400 Arx, so up to 3200 Arx is available per Titan! A minimum of 100 Arx will be awar...
