Please be aware that this was announced back in December for the Daily Gift that some players are being offered: Release notes 1.119

• A small series of technical and interface adjustments are being rolled out for our Diamond Shop. These changes only become available to a small percentage of players at first, while we thoroughly test their technical performance.

They do the latter as depending on the one/s you have won will add Battalions or Platoons to your existing Unit type, all you do is click them and they join your existing Units in your Barracks.

Improvements

• Knowledge Point Donations - A popup message, appearing when trying to donate more Knowledge Points than are missing to another players's Ancient Wonder, has been improved and will now be more informative.
• Milestone Rewards - The Milestone progress bar in various events' Quest window will now display your progress.
• Email Activation - In order to help players that don't have an activated email address yet to change their email address, the "resend validation email" button will now allow for inputting the email address to send the validation to.

@Sir Derf my scout needs 75 hours It would not be fair to use an ostrich for him. Even a horse and a pony might be too weak. Perhaps an elephant or a camel? They look more robust?

This is something that was forwarded about a year ago for consideration, at the time it was not something that the devs wanted to move forward with in keeping with the fact that Artifacts are deemed to be a rarity.  

That is a great idea, @Jackluyt and while we cannot promise anything, we can at least forward this to our devs!
