[2023] Epic Games Achievement Issue

This has been an issue for quite a while:

Achievements from the Epic Store version not working

I've recently started to play EUIV since it is now free on the Epic Store, but I can't unlock achievements. I just did the easiest of all (win a war) and it wasn't unlocked (and yes, I'm playing on Ironman). I heard that achievements on Epic are... forum.paradoxplaza.com
I don't know of any way to force the Epic website or client to acknowledge the achievements that are in the game I'm afraid.
