Right now we have a bug where it's randomly eliminating a team rather than erring on the side of not eliminating anyone. hopefully we can get a fix out soon!
We actually have a bunch of really cool analytics tools that show us how often rounds are actually showing up, and then the designers tweak things based on that.
I'll pass this on to the team, but rest assured that they are constantly monitoring the frequency of rounds and balancing things as a result
Well I hope so. The thing is, the other beans are also lagging but they never wagged their hands nor hovered for more than a second. That is why I reported only that bean.
Yeah, I think the desync is causing the animations to play weirdly
the game tries to predict where it thinks the bean will go next, and then adjusts it back to where they actually are when it gets the next update - so sometimes you'll see beans with bad connections doing things that shouldn't be possible... and sometimes they look like cheating (which is probably the most frustrating part of it)
If it was up to me, I'd make a big red hat appear on any bean that has a bad connection, just so it's obvious what's happening... probably why it's not up to me lol
I really think this is just ping/lag/desync issues
Hearing everyone loud and clear on this. Challenges came in pretty hot and we'll be looking to tweak the difficulty early next week. We also have more challenge types on the way that should also really improve the feature too. Thanks for all the feedback!
/u/trichoglossusbee can you elaborate how the "wearing a single x costume piece" challenges are supposed to work? I don't know if the challenges are simply not working or if I'm misunderstanding the description. Today I had a "win main show wearing a single common costume piece" challenge. It didn't complete the challenge when every outfit piece was common and it also didn't complete when I had exactly one common piece equipped.
It should be as simple as winning wearing a costume piece - that does not sound right to me at all. I had the challenge to win in Squads yesterday with 1 piece of Epic and I wore 2, and it still unlocked fine. It shouldn't be beholden to wearing exactly one at all. I'll raise this with the team.
I wonder if they mixed up the complaints with Jump Club?
