What has been the hardest obstacle for you to overcome?

...but seriously; Lockdown has been pretty difficult! It's hard enough making a game let alone during a pandemic. Particularly toward the end of development it's been hard not being able to see each other and be able to discuss things face-to-face. But we all did a great job communicating so managed to keep things on track :)

And dang the one time i was actually looking forward to buying a battle pass lol. I can deff see myself picking up some cosmetic packs though, and now that im thinking bout it my nephew just got his first gaming PC So I can pick up a few steam keys for him and his friends too!

Absolutely - you can buddy up with 3 other friends and join Shows together. If there are team rounds (like Fall Ball or Egg Scramble) you'll (usually) be put onto the same team... but there can only be one winner in the end! Hope you & your friends have fun :)
I'm so excited to play this game! Question, do you unlock outfits and the like from playing the game or do you just start with them all unlocked?
We're excited for everyone to finally get their hands on the game too!
You'll unlock outfits by playing - we've got 100s of items to collect and mix-and-match! There's three ways to unlock them:
- Fame is earned by participating in shows - it's bit like experience points and will earn you items from the current season's reward path as you level up (this is all free, so no paid battle pass!)
- Kudos is also earned by playing and you get bonuses for things like coming first place in a race. You can spend this in the shop for costumes
- Crowns can also be spent in the shop for costumes... but you only get these if you win a show, so those outfits are really exclusive!

Why did you decide to develop a game based around shows such as wipeout, ninja warrior and MXC?
Because we couldn't believe nobody else had done it yet! The first year of development was basically us praying nobody announced something similar before us :D
How often will the game receive new content
The honest answer is that we don't know! The game has exploded in popularity much more than we anticipated so all our plans have sort of gone out the window right now!
I can at least say that we've added a lot of QoL improvements based on beta feedback that should be coming hot on the heels of launch!
What is the Mediatonic favourite stage and why?
I'm sure we all have a different favourite stage but I think mine is Tip Toe - it's really fun to play, but it's so fun to spectate too. Watching people making decisions of where to go next is hilarious when they get it wrong and so satisfying when they succeed!
Could we see the soundtrack being released? Possibly with the Collectors Edition?

I love the sound and music in the game. It does sound familiar like it is inspired by Splatoon. Would you say you were inspired by Splatoon and the catchy music and sounds? Or what was your inspiration for it?
