We don't have anything to announce around next gen/updated consoles currently, but I'd personally love to bring split screen to them one day!
I saw earlier you mentioned ideas for Twitch integration. Instead of private lobbies, I'd recommend tying it into Twitch if possible.
Allow streamers to invite players to join their next show. If there is more than 60 then the players get selected by random. Those who were not selected remain in the raffle for the next show. If there is less than 60 players in the pool from the Twitch streamers then fill out the pool of contestants with the public pool.
This ensures that Twitch streamers aren't directly taking people away from the public pool while at the same time participating with their followers. If playing with a streamer is the deciding factor to play at all then those 60 players were unlikely to play if they couldn't play with the streamer to begin with.
The tricky thing here is that it gives large communities a LOT of power in public lobbies to mess around and have huge impact on how the game plays.
We need to make sure that those 50ish people are actually going to play the game and not ruin the experience for others in some way. It's a shame but when designing these things we need to think of the worst case scenarios!
I've been following the Twitter for the last few days as I only just discovered the game through a friend. What inspired you to make this game? Was it Takeshis castle? I saw this on twitter, it's beautiful! Yes Takeshi's castle was absolutely the inspiration for Fall Guys, if we could get Craig Charles on Twitch to commentate I'd lose my mind :D
How does that work financially? Presumably games given away on PS+ get some cut of the PS+ subscription revenue?
I'm afraid we can't really talk specifics there!
Where do I find such a thing? Is it a DLC? I've been hyped for this game since the trailer.
