I had logged on for the first time today and searched for a game of Dominion and immediately received a 15 minute matchmaking penalty. So I left and did some dishes, came back and tried again. And again received another matchmaking penalty. So I did some arcade until that ban was over and tried a different game mode, and received a third penalty. What exactly is going on here? I have not been told what I did wrong and I have no bans on record.

@thewildshpee Hey there, this is very odd that you are receiving these penalties when in matchmaking for the first time logging into For Honor. To confirm, do you receive any error messages before the penalty at any time? Also, could you describe the exact actions taken before the penalty is applied or provide a video clip of this behavior if you are still encountering this issue? I want to share this with the team to help review this further if this is still ongoing.

@thewildshpee Thank you for this detailed response, this is most helpful. You mentioned that this is not happening today.

Can you continue to monitor this and if it does happen again please let us know. We are hoping that this was a one-time occurrence.

It is important to note that quite some time has passed since this was first reported and we do not believe it is something that has been occurring in the latest update. In the future, can you please consider creating your own thread if there is not something active already regarding what you have mentioned? This unnecessarily raises forum traffic and moves more active threads down the page.

Regarding the issue itself, if you are on PC, could you please go through that troubleshooting article my colleague kindly mentioned?  I have just looked into it from my end, and I can confirm that all of our For Honor services are running as intended. The steps included in the article will ensure that your connection is optimal to our servers. If you have gone through those steps but the issue persists, could you please provide a short video showing this in action on the latest version of the game? You could directly upload the clip to an online video-sharing platform like Twitter or YouTube. Alternatively, if you would prefer, you could transfer the video to a PC using a flash drive and then send it to us another way, such as through a file-sharing site.

Please give these browser troubleshooting steps to see if they help you get signed in to access your case.

As for your in-game issues, could you please complete our connectivity troubleshooting steps a try to prevent any further connection issues if you're finding you're often being disconnected.
