Hi everyone,
Got something similar like Nazqa. in this thread. First the game let me access the menu like usual, then I noticed that I apparently did not join my own group (which prevents players from playing matches) and decided to restart the game. Now I can't get past the "Contacting server" splash screen. Error received states "The For Honor servers are currently not reachable. Please try again later. For further info, check support.ubisoft.com" (roughly translated, got the German text here)
Also displays an error code which I did not find in the error code article on support.ubisoft.com
Said error code is [5-00000084] v70.58
Restart of my computer did not do any good either, and I'm pretty sure my network is ok. Servers are also up and running according the "check the server status site" for For Honor. Really got no idea why this happens.
Kind of sad - I really looked forward to enjoy my first april fools event in For Honor
Thanks anyway for the effort, sounds like it's really great!

Best regards and have a nice week everyone!

I'm sorry to hear you are having troubles connecting and were not able to see the Rabbids invade today! If you continue to have troubles the next time you play, I recommend verifying your game files (Steam) first and then if the issue persists performing the steps in our connection FAQ.

Hey there forevergekko, thanks for getting in touch!

I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. The issue referred to in the other thread is under investigation.

I appreciate that your network may seem fine, but as our servers are up and running, I'd like you to go through each step in this FAQ.

Can you please also try temporarily disabling UPnP on your router as well? If this does not help, please re-enable it.

If you are still having issues after these steps, please attach a screenshot of your forwarded ports from your router/modem.

Hey there, WashYoHandsPls! Thanks for sharing, I'm glad to hear things worked out! As for your question, the error there is one of several error codes we have signifying a drop in connection to our servers. [5-00000084] Is not technically anything super specific, rather a general connection error code.

NoxSanctus - I'm sorry to hear this is happening! Please ensure you complete basic connectivity troubleshooting for your platform, so we can get your connection as clear as possible!

Hey NoxSanctus,

I think in this case it would be really useful to see your port forwarding. Would it be possible to send us this in a new case so we can further investigate?
