When you place something out of the barrier, it doesn’t count as being in the map, so you can’t delete it.
I think this is what's happening as well. There are some issues we have with objects being able to be placed in invalid locations, sometimes just slightly. The island saving system thinks the tree is inside the volume, but the Phone tools and weapon systems are not agreeing. We'll look into it!

Players on iOS devices will be unable to login until the client update for patch v9.01 becomes available on the App Store.
