Docs on this site feature technical details for Creative features and systems – all written and published by the Fortnite Dev Team. It’s a great resource for all developers, with info for beginners who are just getting started as well as for seasoned Builders looking for a deeper understanding of Creative tools and techniques.
We will continue to add to the Docs site over time and give you a heads-up when new content is added. Give it a look and share any feedback you might have on how we can make it even more useful to you.

Players on Nintendo Switch are unable to gift content to their friends due to a controller issue.
Workaround
Players can use the Nintendo Switch touch-screen to proceed with the gifting.

Workaround If this issue occurs, it can be resolved by the just-added friend setting their online status to “Away” then back to “Online.” Waiting approximately one minute or restarting the game will also resolve the issue.

The tasks issues for the Fortnite x NBA Team Battle have been resolved. All tasks should now appear properly.
Update
We’re seeing what we can do to fix this, but in the meantime, we can confirm affected players are still making progress towards the tasks on the backend.
Task 1 - Play 24 minutes in any regular mode (Solo, Duos, Trios, Squads)
Task 2 - Make 5 Eliminations in any regular mode (Solo, Duos, Trios, Squads)
If the visual bug is not resolved, we’ll update each day with the latest tasks.
Note: Team “Members” contribute 1,000 points to the team for each task, whereas “Fans “ contribute 1 point.
Description We’re investigating an issue with Fortnite x NBA Team Battles where some players cannot see the current Challenge Task. If you can’t see Task 2, make sure to complete Task 1.
