We’re back with another Save the World roadmap! Here’s a peek at some of the new highlights in the coming updates:

v9.10 (Week of 5/21)

  • Dino Soldier

/u/Magyst why has the trap durability been changed on the trello board? Is this no longer being fixed in v9.10? I was sooooo excited for this update to really get into Wargames but it looks like we could be waiting for another 2 or more weeks :/

We found an issue in testing that doesn't properly reset the durability when winning a Wargames.. only when failing.

Definitely an improvement but not a 100% fix.

I was going back and forth through email with a service rep typing in broken English the entire time. I even started second-guessing whether the emails were a scam or not, until I confirmed the email address. Sketchy as hell emails thanks to the verbiage, yet they were official. What made it worse was them asking for my address in one email, then telling me in the next email that “this is not a guarantee that I’ll receive my pin”.

I live in the US. This is ridiculous that I have yet to receive my pin after getting an order confirmation email back in mid-December, and now I’m being told I may not get it after all.

I just want what I earned, as we all do.

Thank you for letting me know, logic. I definitely appreciate this. Can you check your DMs as I would like some more info from you regarding that interaction with support.

If you are at 100% on a quest then you need to use the "Claim Reward" option that shows up on the quest. Go into your quest log, view the quest, and click the "Claim Reward" option.

We're looking into why quest are not auto completing / claiming on their own.

When the roadmap is ready.. it will be stuck to the top of the sub-reddit. I don't have more details to share at the moment as we are shifting some things around.

This is typically the reason it's hard to 100% commit to releasing a roadmap. There are some things in testing that may require a delay or push in release timing. Releasing content information is tricky because the minute it is published.. expectations are set. And we definitely don't want to publish something that generates hype + sets expectations and then fails because it needs to be pushed. I've seen the "then don't delay it!" response quite a bit and it's definitely not that simple in game development.

I would definitely rather have you guys upset at me for not releasing a roadmap vs me releasing a roadmap, hyping you guys up for something awesome, and then letting you down if it gets delayed.

We've been focusing efforts on the durability issue. We have that one corrected for v9.10. Matchmaking may hit v9.20 based on the digging that we've been doing.

Thank you for the reports everyone. Regarding the matchmaking bug.. We're investigating this. There is currently an issue with how matchmaking is paring players which is the cause of the long (or none) matchmaking times.

The restrictions are clamping down super hard and looking for power level group and the biome that you are searching in. This expands the matchmaking bands making it harder to find players of those requirements (zone + PL). We're taking a pass to find out why it's super restrictive and hope to have it resolved soon.

I understand the frustrations, but this is not the way to go about it. Please understand that I get hundreds of messages a day. Please don't take it personal if I don't respond directly to you.

I'm digging into this issue to see why some players haven't received their pins. I've gotten reports that players from Italy are just now receiving their pins so it could still take time. We've seen several circumstances where players have not been receiving their pins because they didn't have 2FA enabled (as mentioned in our blog), had the wrong information entered, or didn't fill out the form that was sent out.

We're investigating this.

Happens in all zones which have power capping. Using adrenaline rush seems to cause it.

Resolved: We’ve released a fix to resolve the issue that was causing crashes for Mac players on low settings. Drop back into the battle!

Some bugs are easier to detect and fix than others. That is why you may see some corrected relatively fast while others may take longer.

We definitely try and get them resolved as fast as we can.

Hey there, this will be fixed in v9.10. We've only seen reports of this happening in Stonewood Wargames so far.
