Kids have reported back saying that the ready up issue is 'kind of' fixed.
They have to go back to the lobby for this to work, where they didn't have to before.

I appreciate the information. We're investigating continued instances of the issue so that it's fully resolved for all players.
The readying up issue is still happening post split screen being re-enabled. Also, the second player cannot access their store either. All these vbucks with nowhere to spend them 🤷♀️

Supposedly this morning’s patch addressed the stability issue ... yet split screen is still disabled. What gives?
Hey again, u/LunaLara1920. After the fix went out with the patch, we spent some time testing it out before re-enabling. Split Screen is now re-enabled.
u/TheStevieT Vortexer and his trio mates are still banned and they have not been put on the EU Heats Leaderboard yet.

That final paragraph is interesting. By the sounds of it they plan on introducing a feature of some sort that stops you from quitting while knocked.
Not sure what the final feature will look like, but it could be something like that. We still have to flush that our with our devs.
Upon further review, it's clear that we lacked clarity around our intentional disconnect rule. Our goal is to prevent players from denying shakedown information by intentionally disconnecting from the game in a DBNO state. This conduct is not within the spirit of the competition.
Because of this earlier lack of clarity, and a large scale of pending infractions, players who broke this rule in the FNCS Qualifiers will now only receive a warning and not a warning + DQ. Heat assignments will be updated.
Starting this Friday, players who intentionally disconnect in a DBNO state will receive a warning + DQ if this is their first offense. Second time offenders will receive a DQ + two-week ban.
Moving forward, we are working towards an in-game solution that would prevent players from breaking this rule intentionally or not. Additionally, this rule and others will be more clearly defined in the official rules for next season's competitive events.
