This bug has been around ever since glider redeploy was changed back to an item.
Explanation: Glider items still glitch out in modes like Team Rumble where you start with one. If you pick up a 2nd glider item from a chest, it drops your 50 count glider down to 10 as well.
If Replicable: Pick up a glider redeploy item in team rumble.

As a potential workaround, try waiting a second before switching weapons after the channel time for drinking the Chug Jug finishes.
